Toshiba has announced its new Mini NB500 and Mini NB520 Netbooks just in time for the holiday season. Both Netbooks are based on Intel Atom platform, the NB500 packs the power of the Intel Atom N455 Processor, a 10.1-inch TruBrite LED-backlit display with a 1024×600 pixel resolution, up to a 250GB hard drive, GMA 3150 integrated graphics, and 1/2GB of RAM while the Mini NB520 comes with the sames specs as the Mini NB500 excepts it gets a Intel Atom N550 Dual-Core Processor and with a few extras which includes Harman/Kardon embedded premium speakers which delivers a vibrant bass and crystal clear trebles.
Other specifications that can be found on both Netbooks includes Bluetooth 2.1 which will be able to upgrade to 3.0 later, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n connectivity, a 2-in-1 card reader and three USB 2.0 ports, an integrated WebCam and a built-in microphone as well.
The Toshiba Mini NB520 Netbook comes in a variety of colors including Blue, Brown, Lime Green, Turquoise, and Orange while the Mini NB500 comes in black. Both Netbooks will be available globally by the first quarter of 2011. No pricing information announced
