If you own a Tesla Model 3, surprise your car can now park itself. Don’t thank me, thank Elon Musk..
Tesla Model 3 now comes with the Summon feature which allows the electric car to park itself. The feature was already available on the Tesla Model S and Model X, now available with the affordable Model 3.
In addition to the self-parking function, Summon also allows Tesla vehicles to control garage doors, drive in and out and even power down without the driver behind the wheel.
Tesla initially rolled out the Summon feature to the Model 3 series last month. Now Tesla owners can park their cars using either the Tesla app or their car’s key.
Tesla seems to be on a roll fixing the shortcomings of the Model 3, which has been plagued with production issues.
Many also believe that the software continues to be rough around the edges nearly a year after the first Model 3 rolled off the production line.
They seems to be making it up by adding features to their Model 3 from their more expensive options.
