Texas Instruments recently introduced its new Blaze Tablet Device. It is a multifunctional tablet device that is a result from a collaboration between Texas Instruments and SV Tronics. The Tablet gets a 10.4-inch touchscreen display with a 1024×768 pixel resolution, it is powered by a 1GHz OMAP4430 processor, 32GB eMMC v4.41 storage and 1GB of RAM.
Other specifications included with the Blaze Tablet Device are Temperature sensor, Ambient light sensor, 3-axis accelerometer, 3-axis gyro, Proximity sensor, Pressure (barometric) sensor, Digital compass, 3G modem, LTE modem, and a pico projector. There is also Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS, 1W stereo speakers, four digital microphones, and a 4100 mAh lithium-ion rechargeable battery. The Tablet measures a mere 266×210×29 mm and its casing was constructed using aluminium. It is expected to be released by 2010 August and will be priced at approximately $2,260.
