Spotify has officially launched for the US market, for the sake of your curiosity Spotify is a popular music streaming service from Europe which is touted as the second single largest source of digital music revenue for labels in Europe. It is the largest and fastest growing service of its kind with over 10 million registered users with approximately 1.6 million being paid subscribers.
Spotify made an official press release today which details the presents of the music streaming service now being available on the US market. Users of the streaming service has the option to create playlist and share with friends as well as the music that the user listens to on a daily basis. It also allows syncing of your MP3 playlist with portable devices for on-the-go listening.
Spotify starts out with an invite-only beta phase with three different plans available. They are listed below:

Listen online or offline, on your computer, your cellphone and a whole heap of other devices. Enjoy enhanced sound quality and access to exclusive content, competitions and special offers. Premium costs just $9.99 a month (that’s the equivalent of a few fancy coffees).
