Its been approximately one year since I ended my cable subscription, and if having access to live channels was the reason why you still continue to pay for cable, then finally you have an alternative.
Sling TV is now available to television lovers in the United States, the company now allows you to join for a mere $20 per month and you get access to live television networks on your Roku Streaming Box.
Sling TV delivers channels such as ESPN, TNT, Food Network, CNN, Cartoon Network, and more. The company also made a last minute announcement that they will also add new channels like AMC, BBC America, and IFC included in the core package and if you are willing to add $5, you will also get access to packages like “Sports Extra,” “Kids Extra,” and “News & Info Extra.”
Sling TV is supported by Android, iOS and Roku, plus its also to debut on Amazon Fire TV very soon, however it is not AirPlay compatible and not all of the ESPN content is available on all the devices.
Sling TV is now offering a 7-day trial when you sign up, you can cancel at any time but if you decide to continue then it will set you back $20 each month, plus $5 if you also decide to get the extra package.
