Sanyo has announced their new 3D Ready ultra short-focus projector, which they claims offers the world’s shortest projection distance. According to Sanyo, the PDG-DWL2500J can be positioned whether vertically or horizontally to project 80-inch images from a distance of only 32cm away.
The Sanyo PDG-DWL2500J is a further advancement of the Sanyo LP-XL50 which was announced a few years back. This updated version comes with a compact design that is about half the size of the conventional model, measuring 321.0 mm (w) x 170.0 mm (h) x 385.0 mm (d) and weights less than 6.5 kg. The PDG-DWL2500J features a 1280 x 800 resolution with an 16:10 aspect ratio, a 2,500 lumens brightness, a 2000:1 contrast ratio, HDMI, Analog RGB input, D-sub, 10W mono speaker and two remote controls.
The Sanyo PDG-DWL2500J will be exhibited at InfoComm 2010 in Las Vegas, USA, from June 9 to 11, 2010 and scheduled for release in July 2010.
