Samsung has announced its new HMX-Q10 HD Camcorder that comes with Switch Grip technology with G-magnetic sensor that automatically flips the LCD display thus enabling the user to record video from various angles. The HMX-Q10 comes with a 2.7-inch touchscreen display with Smart Access user interface which allows the user to use playback functions or even turn the camcorder on and off from the interface. Specifications of the HD Camcorder includes Schneider-Kreuznach Varioplan 10x optical zoom lens with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization), a 5 megapixel BSI CMOS sensor, it is capable of shooting 720p HD videos and 4.9-megapixel still photos.
The Samsung HMX-Q10 also features Samsung’s Smart Auto scene recognition technology, it has Face Detection, Art Film function, it comes with a USB port, HDMI and supports SD/SDHC cards. The HMX-Q10 HD Camcorder is expected to be released in February 2011 for a price of $299.
