Along with the Modus Bluetooth Headset, Samsung also announced its Galaxy S Smartphone at the CTIA 2010. The Samsung Galaxy S GT-I9000 is one of the most powerful android-powered device on the market, it is powered by a 1GHz processor and runs Android 2.1 OS. The Galaxy S sports a 4-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen display with the mDNIe (mobile Digital Natural Image engine) technology for “sharper and crisper” images.
It seems as if Samsung has stopped manufacturing regular Cell Phones, because all their new devices are full-touch smartphones. The Samsung Galaxy S is only 9.9mm thick and features a 5 Megapixel camera with auto focus, smile shot, panorama shot and 720p HD video recording; and built-in A-GPS support. The Samsung Galaxy S works on quad-band GSM/EDGE and tri-band 3G HSDPA 7.2Mbps networks, it comes equipped with 8GB or 16GB internal memory and supports microSD up to 32GB. WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity are also supported.
It will be available in Europe, North America, Latin America, Australia, and Asia soon.
