Samsung has officially launched its EX1 or TL500 in South Korea. The Digital Camera is now available on sale with a price that says $400. The Samsung EX1 is a compact camera which features a f1.8 24mm ultra-wide lens, 1/1.7-inch CCD, dual image stabilization, and a max ISO sensitivity of up to 3200. Other than taking snapshots it also has the capability to record 640 x 480 pixel resolution videos at 30fps in H.264 format.
The Samsung EX1 also supports RAW with shutter-priority, aperture-priority, there is an optional optical viewfinder. The consumers of South Korea will be getting it first, but the question is “when will it be available in the US?”
