Panasonic has joined the trend of tablets with its new 10.1-inch Android Tablet that comes for its Toughbook rugged series. The Panasonic Toughbook comes equipped with a 10.1-inch sunlight readable touchscreen display with a 1024×768 native resolution plus it supports both finger and pen input.
It is an enterprise-grade tablet that aims at a variety of users including field workers who requires a rugged device for their daily line of work. Panasonic didn’t reveal too much information on the new rugged tablet device but we do know that it will run a version of the Google Android OS and comes with a few connectivity options including 3G or 4G connectivity. Panasonic has also unveiled that they will be making an official launch of the Panasonic Toughbook during Q4 of 2011. Until then we just have to wait till they make the decision on whether they will unveil more specifications or not.
