In addition to the Lumix TS3, Panasonic has also announced its new Lumix DMC-ZS10 and DMC-ZS8 which are the latest devices in the company’s ZS series. The ZS10 which is known as the TZ20 on the European market features a 14.1-Megapixel Sensor and it has a 24mm ultra-wide-angle LEICA DC VARIO-ELMAR lens with 16x optical zoom. Other specifications of the ZS10 includes a 3-inch Smart Touch Intelligent LCD display, it has the ability to capture 3D images and Full 1080i AVCHD format movies as well. It comes with integrated GPS functions which allows the geotagging of photos to point out the exact location the photo was taken using online maps.
The Lumix DMC-ZS8 which is known as the Lumix TZ18 on the European market, it also comes with a 3D mode, it has the ability to record 720p HD videos. Both cameras comes with advanced functions such as Sonic Speed AF, a Venus Engine FHD image processor, Face Detection, Intelligent Scene Selector and O.I.S. Both new digital cameras should be on the market as early as March 2011.
