Nintendo plans to release a new version of their dual-screen handheld portable gaming devices, the Nintendo 3DS XL which is also known as the 3DS LL in Japan. The new version of the gaming device will get a much larger screen compared to the original 3DS, it comes equipped with a 4.88-inch top screen that offers 90% larger viewing area and a 4.18-inch bottom screen.
It also comes with an pre-installed 4GB SD card plus it also comes with other features similar to the original 3DS. Features includes a 0.3 Megapixel inner camera, two 0.3 Megapixel outer camera for 3D image shooting, and WiFi connectivity.
It also comes with a much bigger battery for longer gaming time. Nintendo will be releasing the new 3DS XL on the US market in the colors of red or blue on August 19 for $199.99.
