Motorola has announced the WiFi-only edition of the Motorola XOOM for those of us who doesn’t want 3G connectivity. The Tablet is scheduled to be released on the US Market starting at a price of $599 with 32GB of internal storage. The WiFi-only model also comes with a 10.1-inch touchscreen 1280×800 display and is also powered by a 1GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor with 1GHz of DDR2 RAM. The XOOM also supports SD card for storage, it supports for Adobe Flash Player, runs the Android Honeycomb 3.0 and also offers access to the Android Marketplace. Other specifications includes a 5-Megapixel camera with 720p video recording, a front-facing 2-megapixel camera for video chats, a gyroscope, an accelerometer, an ambient light sensor, HDMI connectivity plus Bluetooth 2.1. It is presently available on Amazon for pre-order and other retail outlets.
