One new Consumer Electronic that Motorola has on showcase at the CES is the new Motorola XOOM Android 3.0 Tablet that comes with LTE Support for Verizon’s LTE 4G Network. The new XOOM Tablet comes with a 10.1-inch capacitive touchscreen that utilizes a 1280×800 resolution, the XOOM also comes with a 5-Megapixel Rear Camera with 720p HD Recording and a front-mounted 2-Megapixel camera for those who loves to Skype and Chat on Messengers. The cool new device comes with the new Google Android 3.0 which was codenamed Honeycomb, it is powered by a dual core 1GHz processor which should produce a smooth 1080p Full HD video playback.
The Motorola XOOM also comes with a built-in gyroscope, barometer, e-compass, accelerometer and adaptive lighting as well, it also comes with Google Maps 5.0 with 3D interaction. The Motorola XOOM is expected to be launched by Verizon as a 3G/Wi-Fi-enabled device in Q1 2011 and will later be upgraded to 4G LTE in Q2.
