Motion recently revealed its new Tablet PC that they are calling the Motion CL900. It is a rugged Tablet PC that offers MIL-STD-810G certification against 4ft drops, its exterior is also IP-52 rated meaning that it will protect the device against dust, moisture and other elements. Like the Samsung Sliding 7 Series, the Motion CL900 is also powered by Intel’s Atom Oak Trail Processor at 1.5 Ghz, it also features a 10.1-inch touchscreen display but with Gorilla Glass and a 1366×768 pixel resolution and it runs Windows 7. Other specifications includes WiFi connectivity, optional WWAN mobile broadband (Gobi 3000 with GPS), Bluetooth connectivity, dual webcams (a 3-Megapixel camera and a front-facing 1.3-Megapixel web camera for video chats), 30GB or 62GB Solid State Drive, 1GB of RAM, plus a USB port and an SD Memory Card slot as well.
The Motion CL900 Rugged Tablet Device is expected to be released later this year, no pricing information or availability date has been announced.
