Maingear has launched another Gaming Notebook from its series of Gaming Notebook. It is the new eX-L 17 3D that is based on the Intel Huron River platform and features a 17.3-inch 3D display with a 1920×1080 resolution. It packs the power of an Intel Core i7-2920XM processor that overclocks between 2.5GHz and 4.8GHz. There is a GeForce GTX 484M 2GB graphics card, the option to choose between Hard Drive or SSD storage, up to 16GB of RAM and comes bundled with 3D glasses. There are other notable specifications which includes WiFi 802.11 b/g/n with the option to add a Bigfoot Networks Killer WiFi-n card, Bluetooth, a built-in IR emitter, a 2-megapixel webcam, option of a DVD writer or Blu-ray combo drive and an 8-cell battery that should deliver a good work time. It comes pre-loaded with Windows 7 Home Premium, Ultimate or Professional and starts at $2,610 for the base model.
