LG Electronics is about to roll out is next premium flagship smartphone dubbed the LG G7 ThinQ, which follows the LG G6.
The company recently confirmed that the handset will be launched at an upcoming press conference at the Metropolitan West in New York on May 2nd.
The LG G7 ThinQ is also scheduled to be released at Yongsan Ip Park Mall in Seoul on May 3rd.
LG noted that this is the first time the ThinQ brand has been applied to the G series and the handset is expected to utilize accumulated AI technology.
LG’s new G7 ThinQ comes equipped with a 6-inch QHD+ display and a 3120 x 1400 pixels resolution. The G7 ThinQ is also expected to pack the power of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 processor like the upcoming OnePlus 6 Premium smartphone.
There are two variants of the phone, one with 64GB of storage and 4GB of RAM while the other variant comes with 128GB of storage and 6GB of RAM.
Other noteworthy specifications Android Oreo, dual rear camera setup with 16MP sensors and a 3000mAh battery.
