HTC and Verizon Wireless has officially announced its new Droid Incredible 2 which is the successor of the first version, the Droid Incredible. It has been in the rumor mill for sometime until it was unveiled by the company yesterday. Verizon Wireless will start stocking their shelves tomorrow when the handsets will be going for $200 with a new two-year contract. It comes with a few buzz-worthy specifications including a 4-inch super LCD Touchscreen display, there is an 8-megapixel camera on its rear with dual LED-Flash and 720p HD video recording while there is also a front-facing 1.3-megapixel camera for video calling, it offers WiFi connectivity, a mobile hotspot feature that enables the user to share their 3G internet connection with up to 5 different wifi-enabled devices, it packs a 1GHz Snapdragon processor and runs the Android 2.2 platform with HTC Sense. The device also packs Integrated noise-cancellation technology, Adobe Flash Player support and DLNA media share which give the handset the ability to be connected with a compatible TV.
