EIZO will be releasing a new LCD display to its ColorEdge Series this June for a price of 3,368 Euro which is approximately $4,237 in the United States. The EIZO ColorEdge CG303W which was first showcased here back in February is a 30-inch LCD display that comes with 2560×1600 resolution and is ideal for professionals that deals with still and moving image works including pre-press, digital photography, video editing and post production. As mentioned in our previous post, the ColorEdge CG303W has features such as a 260cd/m2 brightness, 850:1 contrast ratio, 98% of the Adobe RGB color space and 178-degree viewing angle.
Firstly the LCD Monitor was to be launched in Japan for 399,000 Yen, now it is headed for Europe in mid-June. There is no word if it will ever be released in the United States. If it did get released in the United States would you be willing to $4,237 for a 30-Inch Monitor?
