Parrot unveiled the world’s first commercial Drone for Farmers, the Disco-Pro AG. Developed specially for use on small to medium size farms.
French-based drone manufacturer Parrot just unveiled its new range of commercial drones. The Parrot Disco-Pro AG is an all-in-one multi-purpose drone for farmers and is used for visually scouting their crops.
Parrot Disco-Pro AG is the easy to use and reliable solution, and with the use of NDVI maps farmers can quickly identify crop health and problem areas.
Normalized Differential Vegetation Index (NDVI) maps helps the farmer estimate the quantity, quality and development of their crops.
The Drone was designed to be easy to fly. The farmer can create flight plans before takeoff. Once in the air, the drone automatically collects data along its flight path and automatically lands once it has completed the task.
To be one of the first businesses to benefit from this advance in technology, you can register for pre-order details. The Disco-Pro AG is expected to retail for $4,499, once its available on Parrot website.
