Cisco recently ventured into the Tablet Device crave with its new Home Energy Controller Tablet Device. The Home Energy Controller Tablet was designed specially for home energy management with the ability to provide updated energy and budgeting information to help consumers reduce their home energy use.
The Cisco Home Energy Controller Tablet Device gets a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen display with a 800×4800 pixel resolution, it is powered by an Intel Atom processor running at 1.1GHz, there is 512MB of RAM and up to 64GB flash memory. There are also other notable specs such as Ethernet LAN and WiFi support, and runs Ubuntu Linux 2.6.29 for Mobile Internet Device. The company says you can expect to see other models which is ideal for different needs with selected models having 3G connectivity.
