Cisco’s new business tablet device that was first announced at Cisco Live 2010, the Cisco Cius is now available on the market. The device was developed specially for the business user and it is the first business tablet for mobile collaboration, can increase productivity for mobile and office workers. According to company it will deliver the next wave of collaborative experiences, and is expected to deliver the same productivity experiences as in the office. It comes with a 7-inch multitouch display, there is an integrated 5-megapixel camera with 8x digital zoom, autofocus, 720p HD videos and Cisco TelePresence solution which enables the user to communicate with the office as simple as making a call from your mobile phone, there are also other pre-loaded solutions that enables the user to conduct teleconference meetings, virtual teaming, one-click access to WebEx Meeting Center, instant messaging and much more. There is the Virtual desktop client that enables highly secure access to cloud-based business applications and Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client for secure remote connections to the office. Other specifications includes a 1.6GHz Intel Atom Processor, 1GB of RAM, 32GB of Flash Memory, Bluetooth 3.0, WiFi and 3G/4G data connectivity, runs the Android 2.2 Froyo plus a battery life at delivers up to 8 hours of operation.
