Charlotte, North Carolina Bus Riders who has an iPhone will soon be able to catch their Charlotte Area Transit System buses on time, thanks to the company’s newly developed CATS iPhone App. According to the local TV station, WSOCTV on Channel 9, the App was developed by a rider of the Charlotte Area Transit System and sold to the company.
The new CATS iPhone App will give iPhone users information of the routes, Estimated Time of Arrival of Buses and other great information which will see alot of daily passengers being on time for their bus. I think it is a great concept which alot of Transit companies nationwide may venture into soon. A lot of information on the app is not confirmed but will update you soon when it is obtained. If you are a ride of the Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) in North Carolina, then share your thoughts on this new iPhone Application.
Update: Apparently CATS already has an app for its LYNX Service, which is its railway service, so the new iPhone must be for the Bus Schedule. You can download the Charlotte LYNX App for your iPhone from the iTunes Library. It is called iCatch LYNX and it is Free to Download.
