Asus just announced the launch of its latest flagship phone (Asus Zenfone 5Z) on the Indian market. The Asus Zenfone 5Z comes with high-end specifications including a massive display, a powerful processor and a camera that performs well in lowlight conditions.
The phone will be available exclusively in India for purchase through online retailer Flipkart starting July 9th.
The phone will be available in three variants with the cheapest of the trio being retailed for Rs. 29,999 ($437), the second variant will go for Rs. 32,999 ($481) and the last of the three goes for Rs. 36,999 ($539).
The first variant of the Asus Zenfone 5Z features 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, the second variant comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage and finally the third variant features features 8GB of RAM with 128GB storage.
All three variants comes equipped with a 6.2-inch Full HD+ display and a screen resolution of 2246 x 1080 pixels. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass which makes the device resistant to minor scratches.
The trio is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset which is coupled with an Adreno 360 graphics processor which deliver a smooth gameplay experience.
Asus also added dual camera setup which features a 12-megapixel primary camera with Sony IMX363 sensor plus f/1.8 aperture and phase detection autofocus, and an 8-megapixel sencondary sensor with f/2.2 aperture and wide-angle lens.
There’s an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with support for Face Unlock feature. It comes with an integrated fingerprint sensor on the back which Asus claims can unlock the device in 0.3 seconds.
Asus Zenfone 5Z runs Android Oreo right out the box and runs the company’s custom interface ZenUI on top. It comes with a 3300mAh battery and Asus BoostMaster fast charging and AI charging.
