WD announced that its new WD TV Live HD Media Player is now available to consumers in the United States via Best Buy. The WD TV Live offers 1080p Full HD output via HDMI port plus it supports a wide range of media formats such as AAC, H.264/AVCHD, MKV and support for Dolby Digital and DTS audio decoding.

There is an Ethernet port so you can connect the WD TV Live HD Media Player to the internet to access content from services such as YouTube, Flickr, Your Home Network and Pandora. There is also support for DLNA, Bonjour and a USB 2.0 port for connecting external storage device. The Western Digital TV come with a remote control and will set you back $119.99
