Here is Volkswagen’s E-Up!, the company latest electric concept car. It was showcased at the Frankfurt Motor Show where they also announced that the new Electric Mini Concept Car will be announced sometime in 2013. Volkswagen is hoping that by then it will become the Bettle of the 21st century.

The Volkswagen E-Up is powered by a five hundred pound lithium-ion battery pack which offers a full recharge in less than five hours. The car also has some solar panels on the roof and the sun visors to add a bit of extra power to the car’s electrical system. It will have a speed of 130 kilometers.
