ViewSonic unveiled two new MPC1700 and MPC1701 medical grade all-in-one PCs. Both of these new PCs comes with a 17-inch resistive touchscreen and was designed to be used on carts, bedside or even in surgery. They both get Medical certification compliance (EN60601 / UL60601-1) and have Anti-bacteria coating plus IP65 and IPX1 certified for water- and dust- proof.

The MPC1700 and MPC1701 are powered by Intel’s Core 2 Duo 2.2GHz and 1.06GHz processor respectively and both comes with Intel GMA X3100 graphics, up to 4GB of RAM, a 80GB hard drive, bootable CompactFlash slot, a DVI output plus PCI 2.2, PCMCIA Type i/II and Mini PC slots are available. There was no pricing information announced for both Medical grade PCs, so you will have to contact ViewSonic if you need one.
