Thanko launches its 2.5-inch/3.5-inch HDD media player (model HDPLAY90) which docks any 2.5-inch or 3.5-inch SATA hard drive and does media playback. The HDPLAY90 supports both FAT32 and NTFS file systems, it also offers playback of DivX, XviD, MPEG-4, VCD, MP3 and JPEG files. The player features HDMI output as well as composite, component, S-video and VGA (via adapter) outputs.
Thanko’s HDPLAY90 supports SDHC cards and offers a USB Host port plus a remote control is also included. It is priced at 6980 Yen.
