ProMaster has announced its new MultiReader 3.0 Card Reader on the market. It is a multiple memory card reader that supports the SuperSpeed USB 3.0 interface. The MultiReader 3.0 will read a wide range of memory cards, practically all those that are presently available on the market. It features a LED light that works as an activity indicator whenever data is being transferred and supports most operating systems ranging from Windows 7 and Mac to Linux 2.4.x or later.

The line up of compatible cards includes the CF Type I, CF Type II, MicroDrive, MagicStore, Micro SD (with adapter), SD, MiniSD, MMC, RS MMC, MMC Micro (with adapter), MS, MS PRO, Magic Gate, MS DUO, MS DUO PRO, M (with adapter) and xD-Picture cards. The MultiReader 3.0 from ProMaster is already available for purchase and goes for the price of $49.95 per unit.

With all the USB 3.0 Memory Card presently being announced, Lexar saw it fit to release its new Professional USB 3.0 Dual-Slot Reader that comes with dual-slots and are compatible with USB 3.0 card such as CompactFlash (CF) UDMA, SDXC, and SDHC Ultra High Speed-I (UHS-I) as well as CF, SD/SDHC memory cards.
