NEC PA600X, PA550W, PA500U and PA500X PA Series Projectors

NEC has announced four new projectors to the company’s PA Series, they are the PA600X, PA550W, PA500U and PA500X. All four new projectors are ideal for for large classrooms and corporate conference rooms, they sport a chassis, improved center lens design and comes with some standard specifications such as up to 4000 hours of lamp and filter life, a brightness level of 5000 to 6000 lumens, it can be stacked horizontally or vertically to boost image brightness up to 24,000 lumens, there is the company’s ECO Mode technology that extends lamp life by up to 50%.

All three projectors also boost a XGA, WXGA and WUXGA native resolution, HQV processing, Image Express Lite which enables users to transmission of an image to the projector without the need for external components over a wired or wireless network, Windows Network Drive and Media Connection functions display multimedia files, there is Cornerstone correction helps display the image properly when the projector is set up at an angle to the screen, Geometric correction and connectivity ports for HDMI, RJ45, Wireless LAN, USB, DisplayPort plus there is a 10W speaker integrated.

The NEC PA600X, PA550W, PA500U and PA500X are scheduled for release in March 2011 for a price of $3,999, $3,399, $5,499 and $3,199, respectively.
