Its the end of the first quarter and most fortune 500-100 companies are releasing their quarterly report, T-Mobile have not exactly been doing so great and have been loosing customers over the past few years, but the carrier seems to have hit a stroke of luck as they are report some really good quarterly numbers, comparing to previous quarters.

T-Mobile is now announcing that the company saw a growth of 3,000 subscribers, which is somewhat better than the 349,000 subscribers they lost in Q4 2012. The those numbers are combined with customers from MVNO and other unbranded users, the carrier managed to achieve a net growth in their customer base of 579,000.

According to T-Mobile’s CEO, John Legere, “These results display positive momentum and the first positive branded growth in four years […] We have made material progress in stabilizing our branded business in Q1, which provides a solid foundation to build on with the new Un-carrier customer offers we launched last week across America.” The carrier has also reported that customer de-activations were at a 1.9% churn rate, which apparently is their best rate since 2008.
