The handycam is IP58-rated for waterproof to a depth of 10 meters (compare to 5 meters of its brother GW77) and dustproof, plus it meets MIL-STD 810 standard to withstand drops from 1.5m meters. The HandyCam HDR-GW66VE is also freezeproof to -10C and resistant to dirt.

The HandyCam GW66 comes equipped with 20.back-illuminated Exmor R CMOS Sensor enabling the user to record Full HD 1920x1080p videos, and it features a 10x optical zoom Sony G lens to capture scenes near and far.

The camcorder also features a 3-inch Clear Photo LCD display and there’s also an HDMI output, and supports Memory Stick Micro (M2) or MicrSD/SDHC/SDXC card for storage.

The M33 comes with image stabilization for steady, blur-free video recording. It is also equipped with stereo microphone and includes advanced audio technology to reduce unwanted background noise and also increase the volume of voices or other sound that you want to capture in your video.

The camcorder also gets a 3-inch display for previewing your recording, there’s an HDMI output port for sharing recording content on a much larger screen, it has two SD card slots for up to 64GB of storage capacity and it has a battery that provides up to 2.5 hours of recording.

The new AVCCAM AG-AC90 is a professional-grade camera that comes with professional features, it includes a 12x optical zoom, there’s Panasonic’s Nano Surface Coating which means the device was designed to minimize ghosting and flaring.

The cam also features an 2.19-megapixel BSI 1/4.7 type 3MOS image sensor which enables the device to capture quality videos in low light conditions, plus it records 1080/60p HD videos. There’s also the smartphone application for iOS and Android devices that enables users with said devices to transfer photos and videos to a smartphone for quick sharing via the internet. The smartphone app also allows users to pair their handsets with the camcorder and use it as a remote control.

The new JVC Everio GZ-EX250 records Full HD 1920×1080 videos in AVCHD format and also packs a wide variety of advanced features such as Advanced Image Stabilizer for reducing camera shake, Intelligent AUTO mode, Smile Meter and Smile Shot, Pet Detection and Pet Shot, Time-Lapse REC & Auto REC and High-Speed Video Recording for Super Slow Motion Playback.

Other than its WiFi connectivity, the Everio GZ-EX250 comes with 16GB of internal storage plus it has a memory card slot that supports SD/SDHC/SDXC cards and an HDMI output for connectivity with a bigger screen. Specifications of the Camileo CLIP includes a 5 Megapixel CMOS sensor with backside illumination technology as found on the Camileo X200 and X400 Cams, it can be used to capture 16-Megapixel still images and records Full HD 1920×1080 video at 30fps in H.264 HD video format. The CLIP also features electronic image stabilizer, it has a 10x digital zoom, a mini HDMI output for showing your video on bigger screens plus there is a memory card slot that supports SD, SDHC and SDXC cards. Toshiba has plans to release the Camileo CLIP Mini Camcorder during Q4 of 2011, no pricing information has been announced.

The Toshiba Camileo X400 comes with a 5-Megapixel CMOS sensor with backside illumination technology, it has a 23x optical zoom lens and a 3-inch LCD touchscreen display while the Toshiba Camileo X200 comes with an 8-Megapixel sensor, it gets a 12x optical zoom lens and a 3-inch Touchscreen display.

Both cams also has the ability to record 1920x1080p video in MPEG4 H.264 format, it comes with an integrated HDMI output port which allows the user to stream recorded videos to their large flat screens and both cameras comes with a memory card slot that supports SD/SDHC and SDXC cards with a maximum capacity of up to 128GB.

The BenQ M25 also comes with a few effects pre-installed as well which includes Normal, Art, Sepia, Negative, Black/ White and Vivid mode which will add a little fun to your home videos.

The new BenQ M25 Pocket-Sized 1080p Full HD Camcorder is not much of an powerhouse device, just judging from the specifications listed above that was found, it will hit markets globally in August 2011.

All three new Full HD Camcorder with built-in projector are presently up for pre-order on Amazon with the HDR-PJ50V going for a price of $999 and should be released in April while the HDR-PJ30V and HDR-PJ10 should be available in March for a price of $950 and $700, respectively.

The HDR-TD10 also supports 5.1-channel Surround sound, it comes equipped with an integrated 5.1 channel surround microphone for dynamic surround sound, there is also wind noise reduction for clear voice recording, has a 3.5-inch glasses-free 3D Xtra Fine LCD touch panel display with TruBlack technology and other advanced features such as switching between 2D/3D modes, Intelligent Auto mode, Golf Shot mode and Optical SteadyShot image stabilization with Active Mode.

The Sony Handycam HDR-TD10 is expected to be launched in April 2011, it is presently available for pre-order on Amazon for a price of $1499.99 per unit.

The Sony Bloggie 3D also comes with 8GB of internal memory, it has a flip-out USB arm which enables the user to connect, charge and upload connect to a personal computer. It comes with a slim, sleek body and it comes with a rechargeable battery for a price of $249.99 and can be pre-ordered over at Amazon.

As we mentioned before it comes with 3D optical 5x zoom, it has a Optical Axis Automatic Stabilization System, there is JVC’s BIPHONIC technology for dynamic 3D sound and Automatic Parallax Adjustment and a 3-inch LCD display that you can view your 3D videos and images without the need for 3D glasses. The GS-TD1 is also equipped with JVC’s new high-speed imaging engine that will simultaneously process the two Full HD images, left and right images at 1920 x 1080i. The JVC Everio GS-TD1 is expected to be launched in March for a price of $1999.95.

Both HD Camcorders are equipped with Sony’s Exmor CMOS sensor, a F2.8 wide angle lens and a 4x Digital Zoom. There are also other specifications that most users will appreciate such as its SteadyShot image stabilization, Face Detection Feature, auto focus, Auto Macro, a 3-inch capacitive touchscreen and the built-in USB connector that rules out the need for a USB cable. But thats not all, the pocket-size camcorder also has an HDMI port so you can preview recorded content on your HDTV.

Both the Bloggie Touch MHS-TS20 and MHS-TS10 will be released in October for a price of $200 and $180, respectively.

These compact professional camcorders have dual XLR inputs for external audio sources as well as a built-in stereo microphone. They also comes with Canon’s 10x HD zoom lens with a 35mm equivalent zoom range of 30.4mm – 304mm, DIGIC DV III image processor, a 3.5-inch LCD Display, built-in features to assist with 3-D production, including OIS Lens Shift to aid in optically aligning two XF105 or XF100 camcorders and an infrared feature enabling the capture of HD video shooting in conditions with little to zero ambient light.

The XF105 model on the other hand gets industry-standard HD-SDI output and genlock in/SMPTE time code (in/out) terminals. Both camcorders are scheduled for release early 2011.

The BenQ S21 can record Full HD 1080p videos and snap 16-Megapixel Still Images which you can pre-view later on the 3-inch LED Touch display. Hopefully it will head to the US soon but for right now the consumers of Asia will be getting it first, August 2010.
