ViewSonic ViewBook VNB141 and VNB105 Notebooks
In addition with the VNB131 ViewBook Pro ULV Notebook, Viewsonic also announced the ViewBook VNB141 and VNB105 Notebooks. The VNB141 is a 14-inch CULV Notebook which is basically the 14-inch version of the VNB131, while the VNB105 is backed by the Pine Trail Platform.

The VNB141 is powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo SU7300 processor, a 250GB hard drive, integrated graphics card, a 7-in-1 card reader, an integrated optical drive and 2GB of RAM. It features a 14-inch LCD display with a 1366×768 resolution.

At the CES 2010, Toshiba also announced the Satellite E205 Notebook PC. The Satellite E205 first is one of the first notebook PC to include Intel’s Wireless Display Technology (WiDi). The E205 Notebook is powered by an Intel Core i5-430M processor, Mobile Intel HD graphics card, 500GB hard drive, a slot-loading DVD SuperMulti burner and up to 4GB of RAM.

Intel’s Wireless Display technology, allows the user to to wirelessly connect the laptop to a big screen HDTV and enjoy digital content with great image clarity and amazing sound at the touch of a button. If not you can always enjoy its 14-inch LED-backlit display. Other specs includes WiFi 802.11b/g/n connectivity, an integrated webcam, memory card reader, HDMI port, eSATA/USB combo port and up to 6 hours of battery life.

The Satellite E205 will be available on January 17 at Best Buy stores nationwide and on BestBuy.com for $999.99.

Panasonic introduced its SC-HC20, SC-HC30 and SC-HC40 compact iPod/CD stereo audio systems at the CES 2010, all of the mentioned audio systems comes with an integrated CD player and has the capability to play music directly from your iPod or iPhone.

The SC-HC40 and SC-HC30 comes boasting Panasonic’s advanced Bamboo Cone Speakers and a Dual Passive Radiator while the SC-HC40 has has additional features including the capability to stream music to bluetooth enabled devices with its bluetooth connectivity. Oh I almost forgot about the SC-HC20 which has a motorized door which slides open to insert a music CD. All of the models mentioned has a built-in FM/AM receiver and is expected to launch in April 2010

Dell Mini 5 Concept Smartphone Probably you heard of the rumor of the Dell Mini 5, well it is no longer a rumor, as Dell has confirmed the 5-inch Android tablet concept, called the Mini 5 at the CES 2010. They also confirmed that the device will be getting a 5-inch multitouch touchscreen display, two cameras including a 5-megapixel main camera and a front camera for video calling, support for 3G networks and WiFi connectivity.

The Dell Mini 5 Tablet is expected to be available in red, black and pink colours. The other details – detailed specifications, pricing and availability are yet to be announced. However, Dell has reportedly mentioned that they are working on similar devices with different sizes and form factors as well.

The RP-HC700 Noise Canceling Headphones were not the only consumer electronics that Panasonic announced at the CES. One the many was the Lumix DMC-F3 Compact Camera which comes with the capability to shoot 720p HD recordings 30fps as well as WVGA (848 x 480) and normal VGA (640 x 480) clips.

But that’s not all the Lumix DMC-F3 has in store, it comes with features including the Auto Scene Mode which offers a Intelligent ISO Control, Face Detection and Intelligent Scene Selector function, there is a digital image stabilizer, 12.1 Megapixel image sensor, 4x optical zoom lens with 28mm wide angle, Extra Optical Zoom function which extends zoom power to 7.8x, a 2.7-inch LCD display and support for SD/SDHC as well as SDXC cards.

Panasonic recently launched a new Noise Canceling Headphone dubbed the RP-HC700. The unveiling was done at the CES 2010, where they highlighted the functions of the headphone and showcased that it is able to reduce outside noise by 92% (22dB at 200HZ) and they filter out background noise by generating a signal of the opposite phase to effectively cancel it.

The RP-HC700 Headphones comes with large 40mm drives with Neodymium rare-earth magnets for pure, natural sound reproduction and ergo-design earpads made of soft, high-grade synthetic leather. There is a frequency of 8Hz – 22kHz and is operates on one AAA alkaline battery. The headphones will be released in April and goes for a price of $199.99

This accessory works by simple docking your iPhone or iPod into the keyboard, then you can start typing on your device with the standard QWERTY keyboard layout and full-sized keys, perfect for bloggers who have an iPhone.

The only problem is that you CANNOT type directly into any text box on your device, you have to type in the iType app, then copy and paste the written text where you want. Thats a dumb move ION, come with an upgrade where I can type into any text box, then I will spend my hard earned money to get one.

Audiovox was at the CES 2010, where they unveiled Audiovox Lexi e-Book Reader. The device will be sold under the RCA brand, a brand that the company has always marketed. The RCA Lexi features a 6-inch 800×600 e-ink display with 16-level gray scale, there is a rechargeable battery that delivers 7,000 page turns and 2GB of internal memory for storage of your e-content.

Integrated with the device, there is also the ezTurn functionality for either left or right handed page turning and has Auto-Magic content synchronization. RCA’s Lexi will ship preloaded with Barnes & Nobles Desktop Reader Windows/MAC software for reading, purchasing and managing content and it will also contain Adobe Reader Mobile technology. The Audiovox RCA Lexi will be priced at $229.99 and should be out in March 2010.
