				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Motorola fans in Europe has had the <a href="http://www.loopygadgets.com/tag/motorola-motoluxe/" target="_blank">Motorola Motoluxe</a> for a few months now, and now Motorola has decided to launch the Android Smartphone in Canada. The company just made the announcement, that the Motoluxe is expected to be released in Canada before the end of June.<br />

Hardware and specifications-wise, the Motoluxe is considered an mid-level device, it comes equipped with an 800MHz processor, it has a 4-inch FWVGA display, an 8-Megapixel camera on the rear, it runs the Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS with Motorola&#8217;s MotoSwitch UI. </p>
<p><span id="more-29266"></span>The main highlight of the Motoluxe is it&#8217;s super thin frame that measure only 9.9mm thin. There are also a few other notable specs such as its WiFi 802.11 b/g/n connectivity, HSDPA support and its unique multi-coloured LED indicator which alerts you of messages, low battery and missed calls with different colors. </p>
<p>No pricing details were unveiled nor which carrier will be offering the smartphone in Canada.  </p>

Motorola has decided to put out one last set of Android-Powered Smartphone before the inking of the deal between Motorola Mobility and Google. It is the new Motorola DEFY+ Rugged Android Smartphone which is said to be an upgrade to the recently released <a href="http://www.loopygadgets.com/2010/09/motorola-defy-rugged-android-smartphone-now-official/">Motorola DEFY</a>. </p>
<p>The new DEFY+ gets IP67 certification which means it is water resistant, scratch resistant and dust proof which makes it ideal for the outdoor enthusiasts. It measures 107 x 59 x 13.4 mm and weighs 118 grams and comes with a 3.7-inch touchscreen display with a 854&#215;480 pixel resolution which is also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. The Motorola DEFY+ gets powered by a 1GHz processor which is also an upgrade from the 800MHz found in the first DEFY, it comes with 2GB of internal storage, there is a 5-Megapixel camera with autofocus and flash, Bluetooth 2.1, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS and HSDPA connectivity. </p>

According to the company, the Motorola DEFY+ offers faster Web-browsing, it supports Adobe Flash 10 which means you will be able to play some of your favorite web-based games, it comes with the social networking tools and a battery life which delivers up to 7.1 hours of talk time and a 16 day standby time. It runs the Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS with Motorola&#8217;s custom UI. No pricing details has been announced but it will be available in Asia, Europe and Latin America starting early this fall. </p>

Google has announced that its new Nexus S Smartphone which was developed by Samsung is now Official. This will be the second Android Smartphone released by Google following its <a href="http://www.loopygadgets.com/2010/01/google-launches-the-nexus-one-phone/">Nexus One</a> which was developed by HTC and was recently discontinued from the market. The new Nexus S is based on the popular Galaxy S which can be found on just about every provider in the US.  New features to the Nexus Smartphone is its large 4-inch Super AMOLED Capacitive Touchscreen Contour display with curved glass screen and anti-finger print coating, it is powered by a 1GHz Hummingbird Cortex A8 processor, a 5-Megapixel Camera with 720×480 video recording unlike the original Galaxy S, there is a front VGA Camera and built-in Near Field Communication (NFC) connectivity. </p>

<p>The Google Nexus S Gingerbread Smartphone will be sold unlocked, not tied to any carrier, it should debut through Best Buy on the US Market and Carphone Warehouse on the UK Market starting December 20th. </p>
