Sprint has gotten their version of the well anticipated HTC Hero android-powered smartphone. The Sprint Version really looks different from the regular one as it has more of a oval shape than the rectangular shape the regular one has.
The Sprint HTC Hero supports CDMA EVDO Rev.A 3G network unlike the regular HTC Hero which supports GSM/WCDMA Networks. It features a 3.2-inch touchscreen display with a 5 megapixel camera, integrated GPS receiver, trackball navigation, WiFi, Bluetooth, and a microSD card slot just like the GSM Version. The Sprint HTC Hero also comes with the custom HTC Sense UI and HTC footprint.
It also comes with app for social networking sites such as Facebook, Flickr and Twitter. The Sprint HTC Hero will be available to customers as of October 11th for a price of $179.99 on a two year contract after a a $50 instant savings and a $100 mail-in rebate

Here is a comparison between the Sprint HTC Hero and the regular GSM Version.
