Sony today gave their consumers a variety of choices, when they finally launched the new Reader Daily Edition just a day after enTourage announced their e-Book Store. The new Sony Reader came to join the Reader Pocket Edition and Reader Touch Edition to complete Sony’s family of digital readers.

What the Reader Daily Edition does is give users wireless access to Sony’s eBookstore from most of the U.S using a 3G mobile broadband network which happens to be AT&T. Readers can purchase and download books as well as select newspapers and magazines on the go. The Daily Edition e-Book Reader supports formats such as Word, BBeB, PDF, EPUB, TXT and is available for pre-order over at SonyStyle.com for $399.99, shipping will start December 18th, 2009
