Sony Ericsson Z555i Review

Sony Ericsson Z555i Diamond Black
A new tri-band clamshell from Sony Ericsson that has EDGE and a class 10 GPRS. It is somewhat a light phone as it weighs 96g and 16.5mm thick.

The Z555i was released in March 2008 and are available in 2 different bands. The Z555a with operates on the 850/1800/1900 mhz band for America and the z555i with operates on the 900/1800/1900 mhz band. I guess Sony Ericsson think diamonds are a mobile phone user’s best friend and incorporate a diamond shaped design into the front fascia.

Dusty Rose - Sony Ericsson Z555
The Z555 is available in 2 different color themes, The Diamond Black (at the beginning of this post) and the Dusty Rose (Example above). In my opinion i like the diamond black theme more as some reviews you read they may think it is just not that classy as sony ericsson stated in their press release as “striking good looks”. For example: Sandra Vogel of Trusted Reviews wrote

It just looks odd. The slight bevelling on the fascia is unusual but nothing to write home about. Still, if the looks float your boat, who am I to argue?
