Sharp Electronics this week announced for the first time worldwide, AQUOS LED 1080p HD LCD TV series, that offers the ultimate picture quality. The AQUOS LED LE700 also offers the lowest power consumption of any available LCD on the market to date. The LED HD TV’s comes in four (4) different sizes, 52-inch, 46-inch, 40-inch and 32-inch screen sizes.

All the LCD’s in the series features Sharp’s UltraBrilliant LED backlight technology that offers high brightness and contrast levels. There is the Spectral Contrast Engine MC which gives a Dynamic Contrast Ratio of more than 2,000,000:1.

There is an internet-based service called the AQUOS Net which gives viewers access to information like news, weather, stock quotes and traffic reports.
