Samsung is planning to launch a new Portable Media Player, it is the Samsung YP-R1 which features a 2.7-inch touchscreen display with a 400×240 pixel resolution. The PMP device comes with up to 8GB internal storage and also has bluetooth connectivity, something you don’t see everyday in a media player.

There is also a TV-Out port and support for media formats such as MP3, WMA, OGG, FLAC, AAC audio, H.264, DivX, XviD, RMVB, MPEG4 and WMV files. There is no price information available, however we know that the new PMP will features an FM Radio Tuner.
