Samsung has announced in Korea a new 27-inch LCD Monitor which can also we used as a TV. The Samsung SyncMaster P2770HD is a 27-Inch LCD Monitor with a built-in HDTV tuner and can display 1080p video.

The Samsung SyncMaster P2770HD features specs which includes a 300cd/m2 brightness ratio, a 5ms response time and a 50,000:1 contrast ratio along with features such as integrated picture-in-picture and picture-by-picture features which enables the user to use the computer while watching TV. There are also two built-in 3W speakers with support for Dolby Digital Plus and SRS TruSurround HD 5.1 surround sound formats plus connectivity ports which includes an HDMI input, a DVI-D input, a VGA input, optical audio input, an auxiliary input, component video and audio, as well as composite audio. The Samsung SyncMaster P2770HD is expected to release in the United States soon.
