Samsung announced the first solar powered full-touch mobile phone in the world. The Samsung Blue Earth has a solar panel on the back that generates enough power to make calls anytime.

The Samsung Blue Earth features a full touch interface with a Bluetooth energy efficient mode, an ‘Eco-Mode’, for setting screen brightness and backlight duration, a ‘Eco-Walk’ function which calculates CO2 emissions reduced by walking and telling you how much trees you have saved.
