Samsung announced its new 12 Megapixel Camera Phone, the SCH-W880 features a 3.3-inch WVGA AMOLED full touch display with a 800 x 480 resolution, it also has a integrated DMB Mobile Tv Receiver, a Video/Music player, Bluetooth 2.0, USB 2.0, 4GB of built-in memory and a microsSD card slot for expansion up to 32GB.

There is a 12 Megapixel Camera which makes the SCH-W880, the world’s first world’s first 12-megapixel camera phone with a 3x optical zoom lens. It features a 2x digital zoom which offers the full capabilities of a 6x zoom so users can move to snapping the next shot just 2 seconds, it can record 1280 x 720 videos at 30fps. Other features on the camera includes a Smart Auto feature which lets the user capture perfectly balanced images, shake reduction and face recognition.

It is scheduled for launch on the Korean Market in October with no pricing information available.
