Samsung Electronics America introduces its Samsung A600 Home Theater Projector, the latest A Series (A/V) Home Theater Projector with Full High Definition (HD) 1080p performance. The A600 Home Theater Projector continues the tradition of delivering accurate color reproduction in Full HD 1080p.

It features a rounded edge design with a glossy black finish and weighs less than 13 pounds. It is based on DLP technology (Digital Light Processing) which enables the Samsung A600 to provide excellent color reproduction and black performance in Full HD 1080p. There is a 1,000 ANSI Lumens brightness, contrast ratio of 3000:1, 6 Segment Color Wheel, a 24-frame film mode and color settings for HDTV, SMPTE-C and EBU broadcast color standards. When it comes to connectivity you will find an analog 15-pin VGA style input, two HDMI, component, composite and S-Video inputs.

With a shorter throw ratio, 1.99, the A600 offers the flexibility of being placed on the floor closer to the screen or mounted on the ceiling.

The A600 will be available for an Estimated Retail Price (ERP) of $1,795

Ahhhh yes, very cool looking projector. I think this one’s gonna be hard to beat for the money.
