Panasonic has recently announced the Z1 Plasma TV. The Z1 measures only one inch thick but comes with a bigger price tag than that of the Philips Cinema 21:9.

It is a 54 inch plasma packing Neo PDP technology and features a 1080p and wireless HDMI. It will certainly be one of the best TVs in 2009, and will be shipped soon at a $6,000 cost, if you are in the UK then it is £4,200.
