Panasonic introduces the new VW-BN2 portable DVD writer that was designed to work direct with your AVCHD camcorders/cameras, via USB port. You can connect the VW-BN2 Portable DVD Burner to your AVCHD camcorders/cameras and burn videos to a DVD without the need to use a computer.

The Panasonic VW-BN2 Portable DVD Burner is compatible to burn DVD-R, DVD-R DL, DVD-RW and DVD-RAM at up to 6x. DVD+R/+R DL/+RW and CD-R/RW are also supported at up to 8X when it connects to a PC. The VW-BN2 can also playback DVD or CDs and output them to your HDTV/TV via a camcorder. It comes with a 2MB buffer memory and will debut on Christmas Day.
