In addition to the Panasonic Lumix DMC-TS2 and Lumix DMC-ZR3, Panasonic also announced the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX66 Digital Camera. It is a 14.1 Megapixel camera that features a 25mm wide angle lens with 5x optical zoom, Venus Engine VI image processor and a 2.7-inch LCD display.

There are also other specs including the Intelligent Zoom function that extends the zooming power to 6.5x. It has also the iA (Intelligent Auto) mode offering Face Recognition, Intelligent Resolution, AF Tracking, Intelligent ISO Control and Intelligent Exposure. It can also record 720p HD video at 30fps, and will be released in Japan on 19 February in six different colors.
