This may be a rumor because it is not yet confirmed but there is word out that Best Buy will be having a trial launch on a limited amount of the Palm Pre on June 7th. Sprint will be the carrier of the Palm Pre that will be at Best Buy and according to word, there will be only 4,500 units which will be shared amount the Best Buy store throughout the United States.

Now to the prices, if you are a new customer with a 2-year contract you will have to pay $199.99 but if you are an existing customer who wants to upgrade expect to pay $299.99 and if you are a non-customer like me expect to fork out $999.99 of your hard earned money.
