Elgato launches its new version of the EyeTV Hybrid TV tuner stick for HDTV and analog TV. The simply looking stick seen above can receive cable TV, both digital and analog as well as HDTV that are broadcast over-the-air for free.

EyeTV Hybrid can capture standard definition video from sources such a set-top box or VCR. This new hybrid tuner stick works with both Windows PC (including Windows 7) and Mac. It is priced at $149.95.

These models all record VGA 640×480 video in Motion JPEG format, with the Snapp CAM3000 featuring a 1.44-inch display, a 1.3 Megapixel sensor and is powered by AAA battery for a price of $28.45.

The Snapp CAM3001 Pocket Camcorder also features a 1.44-inch display and 1.3 Megapixel sensor, however it is powered by AA battery for a price of $29.99.

Pioneer has rolled out a new gadget for Professional DJs, its called the DJM-2000 Professional DJ Mixer. The DJM-2000 features the industry’s first 5.8-inch multi-touch screen effects, Evolved Beat Effects, Pro DJ Link and MIDI controls. The Pioneer DJM-2000 offers Instant Instrument FX providing six additional audio effects; the Live Sampler feature, a switching 3-band EQ (+6dB to -26dB) and 3-band Isolator (+6dB to -∞dB) on each channel, Digital In and USB interface for direct computer connection.

Sceptre, a US-based company has launched the new X270W-1080P Full HD LCD monitor. The Sceptre X270W is a 27-inch which offers a 1920×1080p Full HD resolution, 400cd/m2 brightness, 1000:1 native contrast ratio, 60,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 2ms response time and 170/160-degree viewing angle.

As for connectivity it offers VGA, DVI and HDMI inputs as well as built-in 3Wx2 stereo speakers. It also offers on screen display controls such as Auto Image Adjust, Contrast/Brightness, Input Select, Audio Adjust, Color Adjust, Information, Manual Image Adjust, Setup Menu and Memory Recall.

Asus just announced a a model of the Eee Box B202 (EBXB202-BLK-E0037) that runs RedFlag Linux OS instead of Windows XP/7. Well the only thing that seems to be different is the Operating System as it is boosted by an Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz processor, 1GB of RAM and integrated GMA950 graphics card.

There is also a 160GB hard drive as well as a multi-in-one card reader, a DVI video output and WiFi connectivity. It is available now on Amazon for $199.99.

In addition to the CAM4000 and CAM4505 Pocket Camcorders, Coby also announced the CAM5001 720p HD Camcorder. The pocket size HD camcorder features a 5 Megapixel CMOS image sensor, a 4x digital zoom, a 2-inch LCD display, 128MB internal memory and a SD/SDHC card slot for up to 16GB of memory card.

The CAM5001 has the capability to record 1280×720p HD video at 30fps using XviD codec in AVI format. It has integrated USB plug and HDMI output along with a price tag that says $79.99 and is available on Amazon.

Dell introduces the new Vostro 3000 series, a range of new thin, lightweight and durable laptop computers designed for small businesses. Dell’s new Vostro 3000 series includes the 13.3-inch Vostro 3300 which is one of the thinnest commercial 13-inch laptop with integrated optical drive; the 14-inch Vostro 3400 with up to 8 hours of battery life; and the 17-inch Vostro 3700 with optional Core i7 quad core processor.

They are all powered by Intel Core series processor, the Vostro 3500 and 3700 models come with LED-backlight display and the latter can be equipped with up to 1GB of NVIDIA GeForce dedicated graphics card and up to 6GB of RAM.

Available in the US and parts of Asia starting from today and available in Europe and Latin America and other geographies from March 16.

Audio-Technica introduces its rugged looking AT-SPB5 BoogieBox Speaker. The BoogiBox looks like a rugged toolbox and comes with two 70mm full range speaker units offering 2Wx2 output. It has 130-20,000Hz frequency response.

The BoogieBox uses AA batteries for power and will provide up to 10 hours of continuous use. It comes with a convenient carrying handle for maximum portability. There is a 3.5mm jack for connecting audio sources such as media players or even a cell phone.
