Openmoko WiKiReader Electronic Encyclopedia
Openmoko presents to us the WiKiReader Electronic Encyclopedia. It is a palm-sized electronic encyclopedia containing the more than three million English language articles of Wikipedia that can be accessed immediately anytime, anywhere without requiring an Internet connection.

The device is powered by two AAA batteries and will run the device for months before the need to replace. There is a monochrome screen that uses a touch interface so you can follow hyperlinks and scroll with simply finger gestures, there are also three buttons Search, History and Random. Updates for the device is available quarterly for free download via their website, the device is priced at $99 and a yearly subscription plan for updated microSD cards is also available for $29. It is only available in English at the moment, things may change.
