Onkyo, a Japanese company yesterday announced the market’s second dual screen notebook, the Onkyo Sotec DX1007 Notebook. Comparing the Onkyo Sotec DX1007 Notebook to the Kohjinsha DZ6HKE16E dual-screen Notebook, it could be said the Sotec DX1007 is the most advanced.

It features dual 10.1-inch LCD display with a 1366×768 resolution, 2GB of RAM comparing to the Kohjinsha’s 1GB and twice the storage space with a 320GB Hard Drive instead of a 160GB Hard Drive. There are similarities which includes the 1.6GHz Athlon Neo MV-40 single core processor which powers the devices, Radeon HD 3200 integrated graphics card, a multi-card and fingerprint reader, a 1.3 megapixel webcam, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity plus three USB 2.0 ports. The Onkyo Sotec DX1007 Dual Screen Laptop is scheduled for a launch in Japan on December 21 for $960 just like the Kohjinsha DZ6HKE16E.
